  • Doug Salyer

Doug Salyer has served on the ACS Board for five years.

“I grew up in Texas and attended Stephen F. Austin University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Forestry.  After graduation I served 3 years in the US Army.  I began my career with the US Forest Service in Snowflake, Arizona.  I have been a member at Montgomery Boulevard Church of Christ for thirty plus years.  During this time I served as a Deacon working with churches in Northern New Mexico for twenty plus years.  My friends , both at church and school here, helped me to realize I could serve God through an active role with ACS.  This, along with my wife teaching at ACS for seven years, sparked my interest in the school.”
